The cottages are extremely well situated, being near to the historic market towns of Oakham, Stamford and Uppingham, and with easy access to the A1. Rutland Water itself supports a wealth of outdoor activities, including fishing, sailing, windsurfing and extensive cycle/foot paths.

Rutland is the smallest county in England, measuring only 16 miles by 16 miles, containing over 50 beautiful villages spread across its rolling, rural landscape.
